The sweeps ring is used in conjunction with the Lock-Top Dampers to make it easy to clean your chimney. Simply mount the Sweeps Ring permanently to your chimney flue and then mount the Lock-Top or Lock-Top II Damper to the Sweeps Ring with 4 screws. When it's time to clean the chimney just remove 4 screws and your ready to clean. This size is used with the 17" x 17" dampers.
