4" x 8' Aluminized Dryer Vent Kit

The Dryer Vent Kit is ideal for venting electric and gas clothes dryers. The plastic components contain "UV Stabilizer" to reduce fading, due to exposure to sunlight. The flexible ducting is heat and flame resistant. This venting system should be installed as close to the dryer as possible and must vent the heat to the outdoors. The kit includes: (1) 4" louvered vent hood, (1) length of aluminized flexible ducting, (1) 4" plastic collar and (2) 4" plastic clamps.

Easy to Install Instructions

• Determine desired location to install The dryer vent kit. Cut a hole through the outside wall measuring 4 1/4" in diameter.
• Remove the plastic collar from the tail pipe. From the outside wall, fully insert tail pipe into the hole until the louvered vent hood lays flat against the outside wall. Make sure louvers open from the bottom.
• Secure louvered vent hood to wall using screws. (not included)
• Slide plastic collar over tail pipe against inside wall.
• Slide one end of aluminized flexible ducting over dryer outlet and secure with plastic clamp.
• With dryer in perminent location, determine shortest length of aluminized flexible ducting necessary to reach the dryer outlet and cut off excess amount.
• Slide remaining length of aluminized flexible ducting over dryer outlet and secure with a plastic clamp.
• The dryer vent kit may also be installed in a window opening. Follow steps 5-7.
